About PPA

Established in 1956 and based in Jalandhar, The Punjab Photographers Association (Regd.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the art, science, and technology of photography. Our mission is to support and promote the interests of professional photographers, photo goods dealers, video mixing centers, and photo designers across Punjab. By providing a platform for collaboration, education, and professional growth, we aim to advance the photographic trade and celebrate the vibrant community of photographers in our region.

Our objectives are to assist members in their professional endeavors, represent their interests to government and non-government authorities, and foster unity among photography professionals. We strive to protect our members' rights, offer professional training, and provide access to necessary photographic materials and equipment. Our efforts also extend to coordinating with similar associations, advising members on trade aspects, and ensuring fair practices within the industry.

With a robust structure that includes a President, Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Financial Secretary, we operate through local units or circles to maintain a strong connection with our members across Punjab and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Our commitment to our members is reflected in our various initiatives, including legal support, investment in welfare funds, and continuous efforts to improve the standards of the photographic trade and art.

Membership with the Punjab Photographers Association offers numerous benefits, including professional support, advocacy, training, and access to a community of like-minded professionals dedicated to the advancement of photography.
